About Sterling Cup Charity Organization
From One Act of Kindness to an Annual Tradition
On July 13, 2019, the Sterling Cup Golf Classic was founded to unite golfers of all skill levels in honor of Sterling Starks, a compassionate leader whose generosity and commitment to community service inspired lasting change. What began as a local charity event has grown into an annual tradition — bringing together golf enthusiasts, sponsors, and advocates to raise funds and awareness for families affected by Sickle Cell Disease.
Throughout the year, our efforts focus on advancing health equity and supporting individuals living with Sickle Cell through education, outreach, and direct assistance. Funds raised help provide patient navigation, transportation to medical appointments, family support programs, and community-based resources that improve quality of life.
At Sterling Cup Organization, we believe in the power of connection and compassion. Our annual Charity Golf Tournament serves as a platform to rally the community around a shared purpose — driving awareness, funding care initiatives, and empowering families impacted by Sickle Cell Disease.
